The new, you ruined my life thread....

Jeff, are we gonna get those little symbols informing us of threads we posted in..??

cuz ifin we don't that surely ruins my life.
 
don't know... You all know about as much as I do on this side of the forum, we all gotta learn together
 
looks like we are also missing, "go to the last posting" in a thread, meaning, it looks like we have to start reading from posting number one in a thread..????
 
from playing around, if one mouses over the time of the last person posting, it takes one to that last posting, rather than to read from posting number one...
 
hey Jeff...neat idea to have one's avatar as an "inset" to the original posters thread, to inform us that we have posted in that particular thread.......

i feel like now, i can have an other "everything bagel", and more coffee......

maybe even another slice of Portuguese sweet bread as well....


now if only my avatar can be re-animated like on the old boards, i would be so freaking happy, i could just jump for joy.....

My life started to be ruined last night when I started doing the back brakes on my Jetta, its turned into a flipping nightmare, VW has to make things so hard.
 
I miss the lollipops, where are the damned lollipops? And post count only shows for myself at the top of the page. OOO yea, and my smilies ain't the same. :ranting2:
 
Logged into Truckingboards yesterday morning and everything in life was going good. Logged back in a little later and POOF, the format changed and then my Christmas tree bursted into flames. DANG YOU JEFF!!!!! At least this time it was just the tree but the day is young, lol.





In all honesty, the new format takes a little time to get use to but it's a nice a change and seems to work.

back in my days of "wrenching", i tried to avoid working on anything VW ever made. frankly, i didn't lose any money or sleep, turning away those vehicles...Toyota's, Datsun's, Honda's, and good ole American junk, kept me busy and in the black.

I don't like change either but software changes and things change... I would have preferred not to spend my Saturday spending money and transferring data for 16 hours but you gotta fix it. Not much you can do when the old forum software update is nothing but junk bloatware, you have to pick up the pieces and move on to someone who can provide what you need... It won't take long to get used to it.
 
Years ago, I was told over at the State of Georgia C.D.L. License Office, now in Conyers, that there was around 15 Drivers who had it Noted on the Computers (for the Police) of their Proficiency Level to use Georgia 515 in the Mountains, South of Blue Ridge. Everybody else knows it as "Old US 441".

Well, it's been a day or two since I stole a kiss from a Waitress at the 'Monteagle Truckstop' in Chattanooga, before I needed "Down Hill", but I have to write it out that this is probably the most 'Down Hill' thread on this Forum.

Just terrible what it's done to innocent, law abiding truck drivers.

Just awful.

It's a nice change and change is needed. Out with the old, in with the new. Now, how do I change it so when I click on a thread it shows the first post, not the last. Still haven't found that part.
