Fund Raiser

I call it the St. Ann Municipal fund raiser. It takes place almost every day on I-70 near the airport. It's a stupidity tax, because anyone who goes by there on a semi regular basis would be stupid not to slow down, and if you don't go by regular like then you're going 15~20 MPH over the speed limit on an unfamiliar stretch of interstate which is, well, stupid. So I don't have a problem with it, steal from the stupid, give to the government. I just love street view, here's a picture with a link:



If you look to the left of the photo there are two other cars pulled over on both sides of the highway. There are usually five or six patrol cars on fund raiser duty. And I really don't have a problem with this, and y'all know I gots mad love and respect for our law enforcement, but when one of your cruisers is a Cadillac, you're begging to be made fun of.

I hadn't thought of that.

I went back and sure enough on the back bumper it said it had been seized.



And I was in a neighboring municipality where I saw this patrol car:



So I had to go to the photo shop so I could draw this to its natural conclusion:

my state has many "fund-raising" activities as well.

still do not know my future as of yet, but i can assure nearly everyone, i am driving like grand pa would.

funny too, since my injury and subsequent operation, i not only have been driving slower, but i also do not seem to get road rage anymore as well.....

being out of the truck all these weeks, has calmed me down......

i get there when i get there, and i let'em go about thier business......






dammit...dammit......

now i miss driving......
