ODFL | Portland now open with 136 doors

1st time into Portland, (Almost 9 years ago) was in a little place down an alley behind what seemed a strip mall. Seemed, every time back, a bigger place. Good to see, haven't been out there in 5 years.

I was at Portland this past Fall, during the middle of a huge rainstorm. I thought SPL was rough w/ the construction. POR was nothing but mud. Some of the trailers were actually leaning to one side due to the monsoon. I haven't been up there since. Looks like I won't get up there either since I don't bag anymore.

It's been a pleasure to see all the renovations being done to the ODFL terminals. ALB is goregeous. NEC is coming along. SPL is getting there. I would've liked to seen POR finished.

Think they're talking about Portland OR ( PDX)

Where is the yard in relation to Jubitz? That's where I always stayed when I was in the Portland area in my truckload days. Had to make a delivery one time to Oak Harbor Freight Line out in Portland, which was right around the corner from Jubitz.

If you were standing at the front of Jubitz and looking WSW (?) about a 3/8 mile or less on the West side of Hy 99, the raised roadway at that point runs parallel to Vancouver Way. It is where the Portland Speedway was. FWIW they moved out of the old FedEx Freight terminal which is next door to Oak Harbor.

I hear rumors that R&L's real estate division owns the old FXF/OD terminal and that R&L is to move in. Like I said rumors.

From what I understand those are true
