This is great stuff. If ya got Harrisburg you'll get York and if ya have any in Lancaster. If ya get York you'll get Hagerstown.
The most positive boards on the internet are right here in Fedex Freight forums.

Ah. Originally I thought there was supposed to be a investigation over activities but I don't remember hearing on which side. Maybe with the new people who got voted in at the hall they can get things going again. That last group, the organizing guy was well unorganized for lack of better words.

I didn't think it was the people at the hall that were responsible for getting things going, I thought the drivers went to them. The petition was filed it was out of the locals hand at that point even if they were disorganized it shouldn't have mattered.

I called 776 about organizing our terminal, a guy named giz acted like we were trading bomb secrets or something. The person who he said was his in at our place barely new his name. Then after NHS got the right to vote, he came down to talk to our guys and pretty much said he knew nothing, even though he just went through it. So that part really wasn't impressive. Plus the bad timing of the local election, I'm sure didn't help. Regardless I hope it gets voted on at some point and succeeds.

776 has new leadership at the union, Give these guys a few weeks to get settled in office and give them a call back i'm sure they would be glad to help you out

If they don't make good on their "Give us a second chance and time to fix our mistakes" BS, I'll be making the call again. For the life of me, I still can't get them to admit what mistakes were made. How do I know they're working on what we feel are/were mistakes? I haven't seen any mention of even working on the major issues. I don't expect solutions but I do expect an acknowledgement.

ChooChoo the company won't even admit that you "gave them a second chance". They continue to tell other centers that "the only reason NHS or fill in the blank center would pull the petition is if the union thought it would not win." I respect you all for going the distance and choosing the direction you did but in the end I feel you all were lied to. They did what they thought was necessary to get the desired result. Time will tell.
