Welch appears to be telling Pierson how big their new "severance packages" will be! Pierson seems pleased doesn't he?

I never would believe if i sent Tyson Johnson 4 text messeges today that he would respond back but he did tonight with a phone call....He told me this weekend he was bombarded with hundreds of calls from pissed of Rank and File members and did not have a clue on what was going on so this morning he called Welch at the corporate headquarters and ask Welch if any of this news was true about receiving a new lucrative deal with the termination of their old contracts and Welch responded to Tyson that this was totally false.....Him and Pierson would receive 24 months severance pay which was in their contracts and would receive their shares of stock values at 6.2 million and 4 million but would be working by a job performance basis with no guarantees....While I had Tyson on the line I asked him how we would be affected by the pension cuts and he has been assured by someone way up at Central States that there will be no cuts for at least a year to a year and a half and it will start with the orphans only and they may only see a 17 percent cut.....YRC and ABF will not be affected.....I just wanted to shed some light on what I found out.....Hope this helps or if you want to bash me I can take it.....Goodluck to everyone and GodBless.....A retired local 728 member...
 
what a bunch of bs how about the workers get there pay back and paid like are peers in the industry
RESTORE are pay , retirement , and vacation for union and non union workers

I have no faith in Mr. . welch or his management team I did when he worked here before long ago, remember numbers are easy to manipulate
if nothing else to help morale give us back are week of vacation.....everyone union and non union hates this place and hate working here and it shows by how things are run daily, the attitude's from the top down and the unsafe tires and equipment we have on the road and city in my 20 plus years I never have worried about my equipment and my safety. but I do now sadly. What's anyone's incentive to care about this place
CONGRATZ WELCH AND PEIRSON all you did is **** off all your employees...... all you care about is you are getting yours......... you guys should resign with no severance package and go some where else if you want more pay......
