No walking backwards, that'll get you nowhere!
You have access to a computer...you're posting on TB...use that computer to do some research, some homework of your own...you'll be amazed at what one can learn.

Redracer, you should help everyone know the facts you've discovered through your research, as well as the all important source. I know when I post "facts", I usually post a link, a quote, or something to back up my statement. If I don't, the first reply is almost always a demand for "proof". That is the burden placed on those who want to educate... Few believe anything without some proof. Also, few have the time to research every single statement tossed about.

Just what I've found to be the case. No I'm not going to post the links or quotes, this time. This is one of the few times I'll say, do your own research... :poke: You'll be amazed to find, I'm correct... This time.

It's too bad the ballot box had to be seized. It was bound to happen sooner or later (I think it was threatened once with one of the pulled votes, correct me if I'm wrong) but it's still a shame.

Contrary to the beliefs of some, I am all for the right to vote for what you believe in. I extend congratulations to the yes and no votes alike. I don't know the story behind the seizure, but I do extend my condolences to the drivers of Parkersburg for the injustice that brought this unfortunate circumstance to them.

Let us all pray that, of the votes to come, it does not have to come to this again.

The box was seized in hopes of the TRUTH not getting out before CRW votes tomorrow!!!

Actually the TRUTH is the box was seized because FedEx appealed the election right before the ballots were counted saying that the dockworkers should have voted also. Therefore, THEY were the reason it was seized pending a decision by the NLRB which has gone against FedEx every time.

FACT: the petition did NOT have 15 signatures either..... I seriously doubt there was any kind of "exit" poll either..... If the count isn't 6-15 one would have to question the motivation for claiming and posting an incorrect number with an election taking place 80 odd miles down the road the next day.

Also hearing a question on a dispatcher/ city driver being aloud to vote or not. And hearing from a driver from that terminal it was likely to be a split Even vote. Could go either way by one or two votes.

After reading all this corrupt stuff about the company it really surprises me when any argue against the union. Over and over the company seems to get caught in corruption.
And over and over the union is caught in corruption. So it's okay for the union to be corrupt, and wrong if the company is? Prove the company is...there's tons of proof the union is....

The union (Teamster's) has measures in place to weed out the offenders. Tell you what future brother, become a member and you will receive a copy of the Teamster magazine that details the offenders that were sent packing.

Evidently not enough corruption has been weeded out...because it's the same old song and dance...over and over and over again. And you as a member tolerate it! For the record, I'll never be a member. The US Supreme Court says I don't have to be. I've never believed in the union, and will never belong. I don't need to pay someone to protect my job. I do my job. The company leaves me alone for exactly that reason. I constantly watch folks who fight the system at every turn complain that the company screws them. I keep telling them to quit being immature drama queens and do the job. Some get smart, others go away.

Hope you live in a right to work state..

The membership doesn't tolerate it and the exact reason offenders are summarily dealt with. Every dog has his day and we would all like to believe we can fly under the radar. The day your lucky star is tarnished is the day you wished you were a member. Hope you're in a RTW state future brother.

I'm not your brother. Will never be. Kind of worries me that you keep thinking of me that way. I don't have a lucky star. I do my job. The company leaves me alone, and I watch the drama queens scream at managers and then cry about being held responsible for their failure to do their job and be mature adults. Be an adult. Go to work, do your job and go home. Don't scream and yell and throw temper tantrums.

Oh, 222....isn't that Salt Lake?

Yep, Salt Lake. You'll always be my brother. One day you will lose a step or two. Keep thinking your value won't diminish.

They've only got 21 drivers in PKB and 15 signed a petition saying they didn't want the union and that they would be voting NO....that petition was sent to the local 175 and instead of pulling the petition with the NLRB, local 175 went on with the election anyways!

The box was seized in hopes of the TRUTH not getting out before CRW votes tomorrow!!!
I believe there is this thing called rule of law.NLRB watches closely at all election votes. If there is one discrepancy in the voting procedure. The ballot box will be pulled.Neither the IBT nor the company can do this.

I'll never be your brother. I've already lost a step or two...I accept that. Wise enough to change with the times. My value hasn't diminished because I've accepted the slow down. You're too busy being scout master to all your "brothers".

You'll always be my brother. I accept that. Have no fear, we will keep your value from diminishing. A wise man realizes what was fought for and gained by the Teamster's benefits us all. One day you will too.
