In that speech he told workers to do their best work every moment, no matter their lot in life. He said to prepare to be able to tell Jesus ' yes, I was only a street sweeper. But I was the very best street sweeper I could be!'

I'd say his speech to always try your best no matter how unfair the situation, tells how to handle YRC's situation the past 6 years.
