Santa Fe jury awards FedEx crash victims $165m

Not to make any negative comments for the deaths in this horrific crash.

However there was no mention of any witnesses, that could say if there were 4 ways visible on the pickup.
If there were no lights on the pickup,& it was obstructing the traffic flow, it would be very hard to see at night.

Of course the attorneys standard compensation for law suites, is a third of the settlements.
So I'm sure they did all they could to show guilt on the part of FedEx,a large company with deep pockets.

I would be interested in knowing, who the driver of the FedEx Ground truck actually worked for.

I just found out today from a guy in my church about FedEx Ground.
He was telling me their latest method is that people purchase the routes & Trucks.
Then hire drivers to do the work.
He told me his brother who is a school teacher, had just bought 2 routes in Dallas,TX.,& pays his drivers $700.00 a week.
I told him the way that division first started was that drivers would purchase a truck & were assigned the routes.
He said well it is not like that any more, the routes are being sold.
