I work out of hrs and live near by.
So my Dr said I need a CT scan, I called us imaging and the closest place that is a plan provider is in Gettysburg pa.
A just under 3 hour drive from my house each way.
Called my doctor and told him I don't need the scan that bad.
It amazes me that out of the 2 dozen or so imaging centers in Harrisburg non of them are in the plan.

We had one right here in town. They closed it, now 2 hours away. What a joke, but the ones who voted yes, I thank you. We should of gotten better. At least the co-pays cut in half. $1500.00 per family would of been cool.
 
No one forces you to work here. If it is intolerable, then move on to a better job.
Where did you get that I don't like working here? All I said was, it would have been nicer to get a lower co-pay. Just saying, this year I will pay out, $8000.00
Medical co-pay would of been nicer at $4000.00. I think we could have gotten a little better, I would of skipped the raises in trade for less co-pay's:grouphug:

Pray tell me what purpose do remarks like this one serve. Instead of trying to improve a condition, you get "slammed" with something like, "if you don't like it, leave". I wonder where we would be as a country, if all of us had this mindset? I wonder how long a marriage would last if a couple had this philosophy. Employees might not have money invested in a company, but they have their "lives" invested and "lives" are far more valuable than money and it is far more important to try to improve than to "move on".

We would have a country with a lot less whining and complaining.
 
I too have to drive over two hours to have imaging and lab work done, the teamsters screwed us with this contract, we would be better off with Obama care.
 
I'm lucky. I have them readily available in my area from a 2 mile drive on up.
I've already had a few CT Scans and X-Rays done . Some of those local imaging businesses in fringe areas should join the US Imaging Network

Maybe we could of done better, I am not sure, but we should of tried a little harder then to fold so fast to the teamsters. I ben here Overnite and UPS Freight for 36 years, if I didn't like it I would of left long time ago. I wonder how long Teamsta II has?

I make the best of my situation, and change the things I can and don't worry about the things I can't.

This job is the #1 paying job +benefits in the industry, It doesn't not get any better. I have shut my door on the complainers. You are just personally unhappy human beings, who look at every turn to bring company to your misery.

Spoken like a still blue blood bleeding company suck ass, I wonder how many hard working men and women have lost their jobs because of this guy in his 36 years of kissing ass?
 
Can you show me 'ONE' positive thing you have every posted about the Union or the contract?
No I can not tell you anything good about the teamsters or the contract, it was written to have gray areas in every part that can be used at managements discretion nor does the union do anything to correct these gray areas, it was written to fool and trick the members, foe example "the medical mirrors the UPS plan" it does not even come close, another cool thing about our medical is if you do not work for a week, you have NO medical coverage, it is cancelled the first week it is not taken out of your check, break a leg and see if the teamsters have your back.

Wow, # 1 paying job + bennys, I think Yellow and ABF's Insurance is a hell of a lot better then ours. Take all the co-pays we pay out and we are $2 or so less. So tell me, how many years did you put in? Like I said 36 years and proud of it...
