TForce | The joke that is our imaging coverage..

Must be where you live, I couldn't be happier with mine...
Didn't say I wasn't happy with it, what is said was; I think we could of done better. Just don't think the teamsters did us justice, They told us vote it in or we will do it for you. Do I love my job. YES or I would of jumped ship a long time ago.. Put yourself in my shoes for a minute, I can spend like an average of $8000.00 to$10000.00 a year in co-pays a year. That's like $800.00 a month. To be truthful with you that part sucks. If you paid out like I do, you would of tried to get something a little better. Yes would have been nice to have small packs, but I knew that wasn't going to happen, but just cut the co-pay some, so it doesn't sting so much. How many years do you have Skeeter?

:butt kiss:
Spoken like a still blue blood bleeding company suck ass, I wonder how many hard working men and women have lost their jobs because of this guy in his 36 years of kissing ass?
Why do you say I'm a suck-ass and how many job, I lost for the hard working men and women?:confused1:

No I can not tell you anything good about the teamsters or the contract, it was written to have gray areas in every part that can be used at managements discretion nor does the union do anything to correct these gray areas, it was written to fool and trick the members, foe example "the medical mirrors the UPS plan" it does not even come close, another cool thing about our medical is if you do not work for a week, you have NO medical coverage, it is cancelled the first week it is not taken out of your check, break a leg and see if the teamsters have your back.
You are just another malcontent human being.

You can use one paid day if you miss a week and you are covered. You are covered while out on disability or workers comp. The only time you are not covered is when you are suspended or fired/quit or on a request leave of absence. Even then you are covered under cobra and the ACA.

Where did you get that I don't like working here? All I said was, it would have been nicer to get a lower co-pay. Just saying, this year I will pay out, $8000.00
Medical co-pay would of been nicer at $4000.00. I think we could have gotten a little better, I would of skipped the raises in trade for less co-pay's:grouphug:

Not possible the maximum out of pocket cost for plan A is $1500 per person, PLAN B is $2500 per person.

Wow teamsta ll I'm on disability right now, and I have to send a check to UPS every month for over $200.00. What kind of contract do you have, no wonder why you are so happy.. Please show me where it is in the contract that they pay your insurance when you go on disability... SHOW ME..

Yes it is, I pay 1500 for my wife and I that's 3000, I pay over 2600 a year on prescription that's 5600 and add your premium pay for insurance at 2500 that's 8100 then add dental 200+ you got 8500. Now with1 son it can get higher. What world are you living in? (cut the co-pay in half) It just would of been nicer, for a person that uses it.

You want to see cost, go to E.R., get rushed into the imaging dept have a CT scan at a hospital that have never heard of US Imaging, see what that cost you.
It's not like you could have driven a couple hours to have that done, most of the bill is yours, wait that cant be so because our medical mirrors our last policy.

I had back surgery 4 months ago and my insurance is still in effect, plus I'm drawing short term disability from teamsters! ?

The max co-insurance is $1620 per year. That includes medical/vision/dental. $135 per month. That other $76 oer month you claim to be paying isn't for medical insurance.

You are right we pay $1620.00 per year for our insurance, at 135 a month is for medical/vision/dental, I do pay a extra $75.00 for long term disability, extra life insurance for me, my wife and child(so that would be $210.00 a month for me) But your missing the point here. You have a out of pocket cost of $1500.00 PER PERSON. (with I think a max of $7500.00 for a family) A mail in prescription program with a 20% co-pay with a maximum co-pay of $100.00 per prescription for 3 months of meds. So lets just add the $1620.00 for the insurance we pay, then add the $1500.00 per person out of pocket, (before the insurance will pay 100% so with my wife and I that's $3000.00) so add $3000.00 to our $1620.00. Now add $2500.00 in prescriptions (that's my cost for wife's and my pills) I'm paying over $7000.00 in Medical cost. All I'm saying is, would of been nicer at half the cost. It's the same insurance as last contract, only with a 10% lower monthly payment, lab work, x-rays, mri's at no cost. If you have a US Imaging Center you can use. (mine is 75 miles form my house, that's 150 mile round trip) This is where I say once again, I wish we would of at least tried for a better co-pay to help the one's that use it. I have respect for a lot of your post, but I think we aren't on the same page here. I hope that you can now see, there are some very high co-pays if you need to use the insurance as much as I have to.
