Evidently the driver did not even look at a map. I have traveled through Damascus several, several times from Abingdon and all he had to do was get off 1-81 @ exit 19 and follow U.S. 58 right into Damascus. But it seems like now days, drivers can't even read maps. ?

Maybe GPS units should be outlawed unless the driver can prove they are also able to read a map. They seem to be the common denominator between many problems especially with the new generation of drivers.

but hey.....they shaved 5 miles off their trip so they should get a better fuel bonus!
