Have there been any terminals and/or locals that have had any Holland & YRC dovetailing? Or is there any terminals that share the same terminal; Holland & YRC?

Welcome to the boards Steel Justice. Pick a forum or thread that's subject to your question and you'll learn a lot about our companies.

Two separate companies. No dovetail unless and until they are merged. ( God, I hope not. )
Cincy, Chattanooga TN. Spartanburg SC., Springfield MO., Owatonna MN., and Wausau WI. share docks. Again, separate operations just getting in each other's way.

Share -yes ,Dovetail - no , BUT kinda afraid someday it will happen , with them starting to share barns already ???? I don't trust YRCW not to try anything any more ,cause they know the union will say YES and the sheep will vote YES again & again !!!

Bill Zollars at dock meeting stood before us and said We will never merge Roadway and Yellow. Their brand is worth to much. They both haul different kinds of freight.
Never say never with these clowns !
Think of the cost savings of shutting down one company and filling more trailers with less output.
Or just use the old Preston model.

If he really did that and it wasn't clear to anyone before that solidifies the fact that BZ never knew what went on in those companies.

Never say Never with these clown's is correct !!!!

Never happen the regionals and national are two different worlds. That said i could see them merging some areas such as sales.
Ask your sales ( If you have any ) people if they sell regional or long haul when they make contact with a customer. You might be surprised to know this was one of the first "Synergy's " that old Dollar Bill instituted. Sorry it's already been done....

After Yellow Corporation bought Roadway Corporation, that was what was preached. Yellow Transportation and Roadway Express would not be merged together. In retrospect, the only winner here was the Roush family, and I don't blame them a bit for getting out of Teamster LTL trucking when the getting was good.
