FedEx Freight | New uniform shirts coming

Pulling the pallet jack up (I know, you're supposed to push it) three flights of stairs always distinguished me from the envelope folk.
You are a better driver then I! At my center we don't do stairs. Unless there is an elevator, your stuff will be at the bottom of the stairs. As far as I have been told, per company policy we don't do stairs.

I wish they would get new pants, the sand paper they make the current ones with chaps my hide!

Cuts down and controls the cellulite on the back of the thighs though, wearing the pants during the colder months makes for an impressive shorts wearing season. Now if I could find gloves and shoes that could combo a medi-pedi while I'm on the clock...Look out weekend at the Copa!!!

These don't look half bad. I'm due for some new shirts. Escaped the sandpaperboard pants a while back by buying navy work pants of my own. Nobody's noticed so far!

I've never really had a problem with the pants, nothing fabric softener and hot water couldn't fix anyways.
Being up north, have you tried the insulated uniform pants?
They're a little stiffer at first and a little heavier too but they're excellent in cold weather!!
Walked out the door this morning, thermo said 14*, my lower body stayed warm...even with the wind blowing!

We're only offered one kind up here, plus the shorts. They stopped offering probably half the wardrobe to us for reasons nobody understands. I admit, I haven't checked the contractor uniform request form in a while, but the last time I ordered anything, our selection was pretty limited.

Years ago we weren't offered some of the things that the northern employees had but that has changed in recent years. Guess the upper brass didn't think it got cold enough in the sunny south to offer us some of the insulated clothing...but 32* to us is like -32* to you guys...cold is cold no matter where you live!!

I will also say those lined pants are great when it gets real cold. I got a couple pair a couple years ago for those nippy times. On the other hand I am not impressed with those all weather pants that go over what you have on. The draw string is not able to keep tight so they constantly need to be adjusted so they don't fall down. Plus the exclusion of pockets make them practically useless.

Looks like we are about to get a update on the uniform shirts. They will have FedEx on the sleeve again. Says some new outerwear coming also. The pics are on http://fromthechairman.web.fedex.co...impression-the-new-knit-shirt-is-coming-soon/
Hopefully the new shirts won't fade as quickly as the current ones. Also would be nice if the waist sizes of the pants were more accurate. I have to order bigger waists than any of my regular ones. Other suggestions would be to not force us to order a certain number of each item. In my experience the pants hold up well, and don't need to be replaced as often as the shirts. Also would be nice to get a larger initial allotment of shirts due to the change of appearance.

WTF???? We get to order what we want, when we want, no limits on numbers or items within the allotment.
Usually, I order more shirts than pants/shorts and I take advantage of the full allotment every year. I've got uni's still in the plastic, I replace items when needed from my stockpile and re-order accordingly.

We were told that you had to order a certain number of pants in order to get shirts. Couldn't order just shirts, which is what I would have done as the pants don't wear out.
