Estes | 2015 payrate increase GOOD NEWS

Ya but Estes is still the only company that has Seniority by Category of Driver, and when you got 13 years at a company and you can get bumped by a guy that has only been there for 10 years that is B.S., and all the crap they pulled in the last 5 or so years was B.S., and from what I hear same crap still, pay is not everything, but its nice to see they will not have a Extra Boarder rot in a Bunkhouse anymore. Heck remember back when they wanted to double us up in hotels and some terminals that had 5 or so beds in one room together, that is when I should have left, showed me alot of what this company was back then, and now I am so glad I'm gone.

I got way better health care now to for the family, I had to drop the wife with that insurance they came out with. Profit sharing, 401, etc . etc. its a wonderful thing when you find the grass is greener on the other side.

Dude. Let it go. All this ugly in your heart can't be good.

Curious what the top pay is for Estes city drivers in South Carolina:

I know some are shy about sharing details, so I'll tell you that here at FedEx Freight in SC, we currently stand at $23.68. I know Estes is higher than that ($24.xx?), I just don't know the specifics.

We are higher by the hour. Nearly $25 an hour in Atlanta. Overtime after 55 tho. Cost of living plays a big factor. I'm told Yankee terminals the pay is much higher.

Milage is .59 across the eastern part. Dunno what west gets. Might be the same. Have no clue

Estes insurance is a lot better than others. We don't have to take a health assessments and
We have reasreasonable co pays. Don't believe me? Ask other drivers at other companies. I started over after quitting a company that I had 20 years in with. Even close to the bottom is better here than some of the other LTL"s

This is true. I worked for CT before here. Might as well not have had insurance.
