That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's the same here as Red says. I'm allowed a certain amount annually for free. Above that, I pay out of pocket. Other than that, I can order anything on the sheet in what quantity I choose. We were told that you had to order a certain number of pants in order to get shirts. Couldn't order just shirts, which is what I would have done as the pants don't wear out.
I personally use the zip up hoodie and vest in combination for most winter weather. Though once it hits below zero (Fahrenheit, just so y'all don't think I'm speaking metric on you) I will put the jacket over top.We have a new hire and he ordered uniforms and didn't have enough money to order a winter coat.. I think when they hire these guys the jackets should be included especially the states that winter is brutal I mean it is NY -30 isnt uncommon whatsoever and that windbreaker jacket ugh is just a stiff nothing against that kind of weather!!!
We were given a coat/vest, rain jacket, and the parka for free when we entered into the uniform program back in the day...my parka still has the tags on it as I've never worn it.We have a new hire and he ordered uniforms and didn't have enough money to order a winter coat.. That has since changed you can order what needed when needed. Just have to have enough credit in the account that they allocate us which is around 100-150$ a year.PH is correct.
I believe it is $150 per year. That has since changed you can order what needed when needed. Just have to have enough credit in the account that they allocate us which is around 100-150$ a year.
Back then we also got 6 shirts and 6 pants per year every year in addition to 2 coats each year. I had a good stockpile then and threw out my faded stuff as needed. We were given a coat/vest, rain jacket, and the parka for free when we entered into the uniform program back in the day...my parka still has the tags on it as I've never worn it.
Now if we could just get you to turn them right side out before you put them on.......just sayinWe found if my wife washes the shirts inside out and uses this http://www.cheer.com/products/cheer-for-darks-detergent.php they seem to last a bit longer.
Thanks for the info, Smoke. We found if my wife washes the shirts inside out and uses this http://www.cheer.com/products/cheer-for-darks-detergent.php they seem to last a bit longer.
I don't understand the color, they tell us when hot wear light colors, then give us dark cloths! seems to me we should have summer/winter ones light-dark! just a thought, as you know they want to take care of us.....lolLooks like we are about to get a update on the uniform shirts. They will have FedEx on the sleeve again. Says some new outerwear coming also. The pics are on http://fromthechairman.web.fedex.co...impression-the-new-knit-shirt-is-coming-soon/
The ones before the drawstring model. Fit like a sweatshirt. They have...new design with FedEx on the sleeve, draw strings around the waist, etc...wearing one today, they are nice!
