Good Monday morning to all the Holland supertruckers hope everybody is ready to TRUCK it on up tonight and be at your final destination by 8am to catch the breakfast buffet at all these fine hotels we stay at just to let you know we got a New group of road drivers coming out on the road this week done talked to one guy and low and behold poor fella done broke down on a sterling imagine that so everybody watchhhhh out cause I'm sure all these guys are fresh out a JB HUNT driving school and never drove a big TRUCK b4 so if you see any floating around be sure to give them a big ole howdy who and welcome to tnt wait usf wait yrc wait Holland motor freight or here we go HOLLAND REGIONAL

Who's been laid off only a few city drivers but there working everyday so that's all that matters and there getting ready to start them back full time 60 hours laid off or 60 hours on full time its all the same
 
I was laid off in November... guy above me on the list has been getting a couple of days a week... just funny how they need to hire road drivers but with city guys in layoff...

You city guys should transfer to road we have city laid off and there trying to hire 5 city and 5 road but we can't handle the freight we have left over at night left out tonight had 1 Nashville 1Atlanta 1Cleveland 1south bend 1 Detroit 1 Indianapolis and a couple st Louis and I don't see how they can hire city when we have city laid off
 
Ha , No lay offs ,in fact ,missing 10 to 20 pick up & Del. a day cause not enough drivers & trucks & trailers !!!!!

Yeah broke down Monday night, and they put me right back in ANOTHER sterling and cut 48 miles off my trip! We'll see if I get paid for the miles I didn't run for shotty equipment!!!
 
For every 5 newbies they hire 2 senior quit, then after the newbies figure out all the company promised isn't true 2-3 quit. Love the hiring ad, yearly cola bonus! No that's what should be our yearly wage increase. Then full pension plan! Wow 25%@2009 rate is considered a full pension. Last year saw a new guy open his check and ask what's this equity credit? I said it is a reverse 401k, after explaining it he said WTF nobody ever told him about the kickback during interview process. I said well welcome to yrcw it's the new dynamic LTL. A Month later he quit. Anybody with less than 10 years or younger than 50 should run away from this place.

I wouldn't go anywhere until you had to. Making a hasty decision is never the right move. When New Century shut down recruiter's were on site with offers in hand. Make the right move not the quick one.

Yeah buffalobill, that extra 48 miles wasn't on my check. Not going to argue the issue right being in my first 30 days, but at the same time, I won't let it happen every week either

after your 30 days are up, you should still grieve it, a pay shortage has no time limit, they have to give you the money...
