Yellow | Overweight at Ohio scalehouse

Are you going to try and convince anyone that you couldn't tell it was overweight? Seriously you should be grateful they didn't shut you down. In GA anything over 10,000 requires either a wrecker or off load.
Now that's funny lol 44000 pounds on whole trailer . I wish they would have shut me down and let them bring another truck in to unload it.
I am so grateful they let me go back to the terminal.
That was my lucky day

Little white pills, Fluffy white powder, That's why we now have **** tests!! Lovely!

I got ten forward gears,
And a Georgia overdrive.
I'm taking little white pills,
And my eyes are open wide.
I just passed a 'Jimmy' and a 'White':
I've been passin' everything in sight.
Six days on the road and I'm gonna make it home tonight.

I run Linehaul for one of the biggest non union LTL's. Company policy is do not run overweight, axle ,gross, or both. You get a weight ticket, after dispatching from a barn with a scale, and you will have the next 3 days or worse to think about it. I've never had a dock super question or refuse to fix a load problem. It's a damn shame when the dock wants you to run illegal because it is Friday night. If a dock super tried that, one in terminal phone call and that super will be on that forklift fixing that problem.

Here is a up - date from my court appearance .I called my steward Tuesday and he got on it for me with the company
They agreed to hire a attorney for me to represent me for this ticket.
They postponed my court appearance and pleaded not quilty on my behalf.
I have my steward to thank for fighting for me to help protect my license.
Without his help I do not know what would have happened.

Dracula, there was more to the story. I didn't want to bore everyone with a novel. I tried my very best to persuade him, it didn't work out. There weren't any twin screws on property that night. There weren't any other loads for Hsbg. I knew if I called relay, they would have told me to put a set of mtys together and chase freight. I was having a medical issue that night. When I returned to Hsbg., I spent 3.5 hrs. in the Emergency room, downtown. That supervisor resigned two weeks later. I don't know if it had any thing to do with the $735.00 ticket I received or not. It should never had happened. It was fixable in 30 mins. Thanks for your post and insight. I have read your postings in the past on your Forum. Stay Safe.

Article's 16 and 35 of the NMFA might help you also. You might want to check your Supplement too, the New England Supplement has an Article specific to overweight/overloads as well as legal representation.

I had a Rail container 44000 LBS hit the scales pulled me around 13,200 over on Tandems ,received a ticket they let me return to my home Terminal.

They said to call and get Fine and that will be the end of it , well turns out I have to go to Court this wednesday for my ticket, they said anything over 10,000 pounds you have to appear. Now I have to take off a days work to appear for this thing, the union Steward said to me that is my responsibility to make sure everything scales out before I leave the Yard ??????
The Company says they are sending a Representative from the company with me for my court appearance,
what is your take on this ?????????????????
From now on every trailer I take out I will run it over the scales ,And I think every Road driver should do it too make a traffic jam at the scales ,then they will start doing their job weighing every trailer that is hooked.

The bad part I have a ticket on my license now

Typical teamster driver. doesn't look at his bills, too busy running his mouth, checks nothing on the truck. Leaves the yard, Gets caught not doing his job correctly. Now wants to blame everything and everyone but the person responsible.
