He's much more engaging in person. Very animated. Always seems so stale in the videos. Came across completely differently. A very good speaker. Used a depth of experience to back his points and relate directly to the audience; sales, drivers, dock and mechanics. Extremely entertaining.
Mostly just a recap of past events.
Quarterly results.
The company is growing. More drivers. More equipment. More doors.
Safety + lean = promised land.
All the complaining about the tires will result in new drive tires. I guess if drivers scream loud enough, they do listen. When we see them on the tractors, we will know for sure.
Then some drivers wanted to complain to the president of the company about local routing. He don't know where Groveport or Grove City are, what the difference is, or why you are telling him about it. He's not your dispatcher. And there are about 100 steps between them. Crying about your 15 minute diversion when their is some zone driver, somewhere in the country, doing 400 mile days to get 3 deliveries and one pick-up is a little weird. We all understand that sometimes routes get crazy. Keeping it to a minimum is all we can ask. But that don't mean we have to ask it of the freaking president ! GEEZ people.
Really. No bombshells. No inside scoop. No drama.

That's nice, he's a smooth talker and told you what you wanted to hear. Did anyone buy a used car from him?
