Thats special - Pierson feels strongly that i should get the 1.5% profit sharing bonus i deserve for all my hard work. Whats that about $900. minus 40% taxes = about $540 take home ! He and Welch dont know their ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to building employee morale. Its all just b.s. for the Kansas City News.

If we stay below a certain O.R. 97% for YRC, 95% for the regionals, we get profit sharing, is that for the quarter or the year.

For the year starting 2015.we can get 1%, 2%, or 3% of our gross depending on O.R..You might want to find our mou to be certain.900 was just a number thrown out there.

A "turn around" strategy should be really easy to figure out.

1) Make your sales staff put in a full day of work.
2) Live up to service commitments to keep your customers happy.
3) Pay your employees top pay rate in the industry to improve morale and production.
4) Keep equipment in good condition to keep employees happy.
5) Stop looking for reasons to discipline employees, instead look at ways to help those that need it to get better at what they do.
6) Work on building a "team" atmosphere and tear down the wall between Mgt. and employees.
7) Understand that "a happy employee is a good working employee".

It doesn't take a genius to go back to the basic principles of business, but some of these clowns are detached from reality.

But can you trust them enough to report the accurate O.R. so that you can qualify for a bonus?

How did you get $900.00 I thought is was $750.00.
I was referring to the profitNktaring that Pierson was claiming he really wants to pay us. I figured it at 1.5% of an avg. $60k salary. Not talking about the bone - us ...

Correct. Just making quick numbers for the sake of discussion.

this 0 goes here, this decimal goes there, wait oh too much gotta erase that to put that 0 there, yea that looks good, hope they buy that move!
I worked for a trucking company (private) for 12 years in the 80's and part of the 90's and the or was always at the end of the year 98.6%, every year!

The 750 is our raise for the year.If we meet certain operating goals we get a bonus.
So after these two years of so called bonuses that replaced your cost of living raise you'll be left with about what .80 cent less an hour wages forever. Then on year when you make a profit share bonus you'll maybe get $900.00 which would be less than the raises you deferred for two years, but only in the great years would you get any bonus at all.....hmmmm..So on great years you basically make maybe what you would have made anyway with out yet another pay cut which was disguised as a bonus. But ceo always maintains his high pay and yearly bonuses.
