Brothers and Sisters,

We just passed the 500 mark on the online petition for an independent audit of the Central States. That's in three days but we have many, many more to get. We need to promote the online version and committees and activists need to make plans to get the paper copy out to retirees clubs, Teamster work sites and May local meetings (many locals may suspend meetings for the summer). We NEED you on board to get this done.

But we can't just email or post, we need to organize. Please have a plan for follow up calls or outreach for your facebook posts. Get others to "share" or forward the email link. Make this an organizing project.

Download the attached paper petition, make copies, and get them distributed.

The petition is a great tool for building our campaign to defend pensions. It provides data to build committees and broaden the depth of our support for our movement.
 
I signed the online Petition and got a thank you email back. I also posted it to my Facebook page and to one of my Feeder Friends Facebook Page, she has over 300 Friends, a lot of whom are UPSers.

I just signed as well, because I think it is the right thing to do. I got my email as well, I sent nine emails of it out today and am just getting started. By the way, it showed me being retired and doing nothing. :biglaugh:just practicing doing nothing, getting ready for the big cut. :bat:
