new hires

Basically, you make a list of debts to pay off....credit cards, loans, etc, from smallest balance to largest (not including mortgage). Do whatever it takes to pay off the first one. Take that payment, add as much as possible to it to pay off the second one. Take that money (you were paying on the first two), put it and any extra you can on the third, and so on. "Debt Snowball". That's the main step, but there are others. We will be debt free (except for mortgage) by mid 2016. (We currently have around 50k of debt. Credit cards, student loans, medical bills, and other stuff.) My ADP is pretty good for the short time I've been here, so the snowball is gaining a lot of momentum.
We have been doing that for over a year now, but I will give Dave credit for it. Mid 2016 even our house will be paid off...as we start rolling out of debt starting in July this year it will be going to a 401 etc...!

My 23yr old daughter and her husband will be debt free this September. Until they buy a house, that is.

Driving for Walmart is very different from any other trucking company that I have ever driven for. Walmart holds its drivers to a very high standard and they treat you with respect.
I went to a job fair and was given an offer I've been with a ltl company in the northeast for 10 years I'm very nervous about leaving what is your day like how often do get home what is the insurance like any info would be much appreciated

I left LTL after 18 years and came to Walmart Trans. No regrets. They keep you busy, no setting around waiting for a load for hours on end, they send you your next assignment before your done on your current one. If you start out on the extra board it will be 5 days out and 2 days and 3 nights at home. The week goes by quick.Health insurance varies by region
