Anybody here have any information on the auburn, wa linehaul operation? And any information on oak harbor line in general? Are you guys satisfied for the most part? Starting and top pay and years of progression? Where do you guys run to? Etc

I really appreciate it!

Run Forest run!

Auburn, like all the other terminals except Portland, has a single board. So the chance that you would move right into line haul are remote.

As far as wages we about top out, for line, at what any other LTL company start at .56 CPS, $22.09 Hour. Health care isn't too bad but not sure about Washington terminals. Their plan was different than Oregon's and it may still be different than ours. Our benevolent fathers are ready to squeeze their cheeks and give a 2.5 raise. BFD. Pension? Good luck with the 401(k) since they withdrew from the Teamsters Western conference.

Runs are mostly turns/meets with Boise being a lay. They used to do a Medford and/or Redding lay but I think that is history for the most part.

As far as line, management mostly leaves us alone as long as you get to where you are suppose to be in a reasonable amount of time. But when you screw up they let you know about it.

For the most part lots of the old timers have moved on to greener pastures. What does it say about a company when 15, 18, 20+ year employees leave? Ever wonder why the have had a permanent now hiring sign on the gate for years? The ones of us that are left are too damn lazy to look for another job or start at the bottom.

Progression? The last time the crapped out more money they installed a SIX YEAR progression scale. Somehow they thought that that would attract drivers. They recently hired a recruiter. They used to have 500 drivers recruit for them for free, now they have pay someone to do it. But they think they are saving money.

There is a reason that this company has become a bottom feeder training ground for all of the other LTL's. And I have only touched on a few of them. We are now the Express Transport of the northwest but with slower, more gutless trucks. And the new incoming ones are slower if you can fathom that.

Unless you are starving there are better options. Go seek them.
