Yellow | Current Master Freight Contract

MOU'S trump the contract .as i understand it they havent printed a contract in over 8 years

yrc and the regionals are not all on the same MOU's. PTS is only ran at YRC Freight right now. NP, Holland, and Reddaway do their own road work. anything not specifically addressed in the MOU's, but is still in the contract book, is still in effect, or should be.

Bill at Holland Memphis about a quarter of our terminal is used for loading PTS. This is some of our best paying freight.

You are correct BB..anything not specifically addressed in the MOU's, but is still in the contract book, is still in effect.

come on .you all know they can do what every they want too. contract or not ,written or not .its those grey areas and back room hand shakes that will getcha

There are always a dozen or more TL Carriers Trailers @ NPME in Hsbg. They load and receive freight for and from the West Coast and other Points. NP has had Contracts with them for yrs., well before the MOU's. Our P&D guys are @ their Term. daily dropping off freight.

and from what I understand, that's because we are busy and understaffed, and that that has always happened, to cover freight. its not an issue like YRCF, since we don't have red circled lists with new hires having to compete with PTS. if the freight levels drop to where our drivers can cover them all, we will, afaik. not unless you know of some Holland barn that DOESN'T have now hiring signs up?

Not tr. Socal loads PTS all the time and there are less restrictions at the redd away yard.

But Yet, everyone got to vote on the same MOU?....KK

Griz,...Where do they take it ? To another H Term. or Are you interlining with Reddaway to cover the gap between H's coverage area and Reddaway's area ? Or are the PTS Carriers pedaling it in the area not covered by H and Readdaway ?

And big question, was this going on prior to any of the MOU's ? Or at least before the 2014 MOU which gave YRCF the ability to use PTS ?

I know CN runs majority of their NP camp hills thru crst on annual basis except their 2 bids.

There is no master freight contract. Hoffa Sr created it, Hoffa Jr destroyed it. And the rank and file bought into it. And then you wonder why us non-union folk won't join. Imagine that.

that would be a neat argument, except for 7 years ago, you STILL wouldn't join. you turned your back on what made this industry decent to be in. have fun on your 59th hour at straight time pay.
