there is a open position city driver in houston yard. i just started at the hobby yard which is in south houston. i have to commute 88 miles round trip a day. which is ok but i only live 9 miles from the houston yard. so how do i go about applying for this position internally. thanks

Gotta keep an eye on the job posting for that center if no one else at that center applies for it it opens up to other centers based on seniority.

Check with HR about applying for the open postition and putting in a transfer request to that center....if no one at that center takes the position, it has to be offered within the company before they hire off the street.

u have to have 6months in before you can transfer.
The one exception to that rule is if nobody takes it, then your allowed to apply for it b4 they hire off the street
