Roomer going around from some of the locals that live in Chicago Ridge is that that the deal didn't go through because the city couldn't come up with the 14 mill plus the ground behind the terminal is not suitable for building because of an underground swamp . The only thing that might make it there is a small golf course if even that . Yellow put over 7 mill in the ground back in '83 and it still has lumps and bumps in the yard row's D,F,G,E . It's only good for what Yellow used it for . YRC still owns that property because they are still paying for security . If they sold it why then are they still paying for the security . It's like if ya sell your car do ya still pay the insurance for the new owner ? I don't think so .

Could turn it into the largest miniature golf course in the Midwest ???? Think of the money they could make ???

But where would the Ridge Sox play their home games? As I recall, Ebitts Field & Da Polo Grounds have been gone a long time now. I know! The Astrodome is still standing! Needs a little work but hey! It's inside!

The Ridge Sox will always play there. Plans are for the miniature golf to encircle the outfield, and on the Harlem Ave. entrance.

That can't be Metropolitan Ave its too clean and that crack duck is waiting for the crack man while swimming in pond of H3O water only found in NYC. Must be the water from that toxic river in back of the Bruklen (BKLYN):very drunk: barn.

The barn is on Grand Street and the Newtown Creek is the lovely body of water behind it. And the geese not the ducks rule the place. :smile new:
