Yeah don't think anybody will ever buy Holland with all the union pension debt & yrcw debt & very old worn out trucks & trailers & forklifts & drivers !! BUT we can always dream of a buy out ???:6799:
He'll just drive until they cut the cited

I think this is the second stage of collapse of the ltl business. First was the deregulation of the industry creating 100's of Union ltl companies closing doors. What have we said forever " without the union threat what will happen to non union wage"? Now you could be seeing the first stages of wage reduction to a top of the line non Union company.

This thought crossed my mind today in my travels. This is going to be a game changer for everyone eventually. :-/

I would hope that with a shortage coming that these drivers would " vote " with their feet and that the market would eliminate a company that would act as you describe.

Without a doubt this could go very bad very fast. For now I am cautiously optimistic. The last guys weren't so hot. The bar is awfully low right now.

However there remains a simple fact. He is asset adverse. And this is one big freaking fleet.

Please pray for us. This ain't a gamble for the little guy. If anything were to go wrong it would be the drivers that would pay the price.
