Received email to day of plan average cut 22.6 letters sent out today orphanes hit first with the biggest cut if their co. Did not pay liability .my pension would be cut from 2400 amonth to 1865
That my friend is an average cut for all groups, That may or may not be your cut, read everything again, cry and then refigure your cut, or wait for your letter Sat or Monday. Good Luck.
 
You all do not need to hear this because your letters are on the way. I just want you to know if you ever worked for a company that went out of business and that company is on the Orphan list, then you will be cut 60% for the years you worked for the Orphan company and then the lower percent for the company you retired from or will be retiring from. If you are working, keep working, it will get better. Good Luck. I say discrimination!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to ad this, I will go from 2500 to 1179, I started practicing this several months ago and have reached a happy state, I hate this as much as anyone, I went to Washington D. C. three times. I don't think they care, however they listened. I tried, I am more worried about others than my self. I shall survive without going back to work, you can too. Get READY

Heard there are 3 tier groups and depending which tier you are classified will determine what your cuts will be. Until you get your letter from CSPF you won't know the details determining your calculations. Was told there will be a town hall meeting conference call on Oct 15 @ 5pm, really.....really. Why on this date? My question is over half the people are still working or are just getting off from work....

My issue is why didn't they try to hold this on a Saturday when most of the members are off from work. I consider this vitally important to the members as we are all in the dark. Lets shine some light on the situation and schedule this at a convenient time for all to hear and understand whats going on........that is all I'm saying

A couple of reasons come to mind:
1) That day and time will help alleviate the load for them.
2) They don't work at night or on Saturdays and of course your convenience is not as important as theirs is.
 
If you been freight a long time the list is not hard Cf Interstate Smith Leeway Ryder/PIE just about every freight in in the boneyard was teamsters and everyone of them quit paying into the health&welfare on the last.
