FedEx Freight | Anybody know the new date the raises kick in on our paychecks?

Everyone at our terminal was feeling good on the 5th ( Monday ) that would be our first day of our new found wealth. Then some smart ass let them know that less than an hour away they are making .03 a mile more...the meet drivers we meet are making .03 a mile more...and doing the same job...Some say transfer...LOL and give up the position I'm in...would they..I think not. Just throwing it out there for others to ponder...Can't say the union would do any better at this point. Just got my letter from Central States...thank you for that 45% reduction and I'm not even retired yet. bout the same as what I'll get from FedEx tho...so much for the golden years...LOL...oh I didn't have to put in 20 years tho...my pension ( should it still be solvent ) would be the same as what I get from FXF tho.

And where your terminal is and IF you qualified for said GDP...and if you were a threat of voting if the union...our area rose 9.5% in the cost of living. we however did NOT get that raise. am I pissed not really. We deserve what we get. Given we have some of the biggest brown noseing kiss asses in the company. IMO.

Actually he's a good dude who was capable of debating without the nonsense and I for one miss him around here. He quit on his own to do something that interested him, he wasn't fired.

Oh. Then it was you who was fired? Either way, why are you two still hanging around a FedEx thread over topics that no longer concern you?
