They took 5% from every retired person that left before 65 plus the cut. I know one RDWY that went from 2950.00 to 1400.00. Since we're in default take 45% off your total if you leave at 57 I'll have 41 years in at 65. ABF 5% from age 62 still paying in. Yrc will be killed with workers comp cases it's the only way out for those who started young. Lots of junk to get hurt on that's for sure.

Just try a comp case now. Takes an act of Congress to get on comp at YRC.
If it's a back injury or something similar......they just say it's old age. And get away with it.

How about a truck crash besides the new trucks everything else shouldn't be on the road. I heard the DOT is going to be held responsible for allowing Yrc trucks on the road that killed someone will see how that plays out in court.

That does depend on where you are. In PA we have a good program. Just don't get caught committing fraud.

i started young and see plenty of other ways out. My dad retired after 34 years of accident and injury free driving. i owe it to my wife, kids, myself and my coworkers to get home safe every night. If my company benefits from that, so be it. I won't compromise my good name to fund my retirement. i work with plenty of fine men and women that feel the same way.

Hoffa will come to the rescue and save the retirement and then he will be elected back in office maybe that will happen. Yrc will never find any quality people to work for them anymore but they don't care.

We have them lined up here. Waiting list just to get a seat in the office on light duty.

Who did you hear that from ?

Retired in 2010 and went back on a casual basis to YRC after I turned 65. Pension was cut by 50% so I cannot see myself working anymore at any CSPF employer. The money contributed by YRC even at 25% just goes into a giant black hole to be mismanaged by Central States. Plenty of jobs out there most even pay better than YRC.
