Yellow | Wal-Mart???

No thanks, I've got so much Big R stuff, coats, hats and on and on. Along with Spotlight magazines dating back to 1982.
Then you have one from 86 with my picture in it !!! I can autograph it for you if you want to send it to me......

Sometimes I think Wal-Mart would be a better situation than this broke outfit? This fleet is a real P.O.S. I pulled a trailer the other night that was built in 1987! We have to buy our own earplugs because the noise is UNBELIEVABLE...
I have over 3,000,000 miles accident free. I know, I'd have to burn my union card.
But like Earnest T. Bass on Andy Griffith, I REALLY like the Wal-Mart uniforms! .lol
THOUGHTS ??? .lol
p.s. As for as liking YRC, I was being sarcastic. .lol

Make sure you and your kids DON'T GET SICK!!...World's biggest company with shiny trucks-clean uniforms and sh:crap:t insurance. All the fools driving shiny trucks/shiny uniforms can mock YRC as long as they....DON'T GET SICK!!..

Make the move pal, I'm sure the guy beneath you on the seniority board won't miss you..

And I would send you the picture of mud in the issue that featured the Albuquerque terminal. It shows myself and four or five others from the midnight shift but just from the waist up. Maybe because both of my arms were hanging straight down, and both of my hands were flipping off the supervisor as he was taking our picture.

75 or 100k for living in a truck 5 1/2 days a week while pissing in a jug and crapping in truck stops and gay hangouts(rest areas)....NO THANKS!! NOT ENOUGH $$

They **** in jugs because they are too fat and lazy, or just plain too lazy to walk their dumb arses to a rest room at a truck stop or rest area.

FCK WalMart, just because they pay their drivers well does not negate the way they have treated all of their other employees.

SCAB SCUMBAG PRIMA DONNA WalMart DRIVERS.

B.R. I know you're right. Around here when someone passes away, they don't ask how they passed, they want to know what seniority number they were!! .lol
There's so much union love to be had around YRC. ..lol

YRC... The Walmart of LTL freight!

Actually, we use the bathrooms at the stores or the DC's (the DC's have very nice company drivers areas). We rarely have to sleep at truck stops. Yep, I am in my truck 5.5 days a week (5 nights in truck being paid $42 a night), and home 2.5 days, since I work a 6/2 (by choice).

The drivers throwing **** bottles out the window are not company drivers, they contract carriers. Usually a mega with low rent drivers. Walmart only hires enough drivers that they can keep busy year around (you will never be laid off), so they have to supplement with contract carriers when it gets really busy. They have had to hire a lot lately due to retirements. Walmart drivers tend to be older, as they only want very experienced, squeaky clean drivers. While some requirements have been lowered, that is for markets that not a lot want to work in. Anywhere remotely desirable, and you up against hundreds of drivers and they will pick the best.

Anyway, I wish you guys luck. Sorry to hear about the issues with the pensions. A promise is a promise, and to have your legs cut out from under you late in the game sucks. Be safe out there.

Here we go folks...A Walmart Cheerleader Bot who trolls other peoples forums to protect the ever crumbling rep of this Chinese Outlet. Tell yourself whatever it takes to make yourself feel better about living in a truck 5 1/2 days a week. I'd rather be at home with my family making $$$, instead of sleeping and crapping at rest areas while life passes me by. I work for brown, so my pension is fully funded. As for freight teamsters, some pension is better than no pension. And while we're at it, teamster health insurance still makes YRC a better job than Walmart...If anything, you pom poms should get off your knees and ask for teamster like health insurance from the "world's biggest corporation", instead of concerning yourselves with shiny wheels and captain crunch uniforms....smh

The man didn't say anything negative about anybody else and the choices they make so why do you act like a jerk and make disparaging remarks about him? If he's content with his job and you are with yours why the animosity? Try behaving like an adult for a bit. You might find you like it.

Nice bragging about your fully funded pension. Our would be fully funded if you at brown had not sold the rest off us out.
