Would love to know how many people have a conway pension coming to them, 20 year and up and if xpo will still pay us,also heard a line "Rumor" that 2017 everyone starts with 0 vacation time .
 
Pension was converted to an annuity in '06. All covered with federal regulations. Vacation XPO can do what they want.

They took a years vacation, that was bs, as far as starting with 0 vacation in 2017, not seeing that going to happen, I would be one that would be gone along with a lot of others if that happens!!
 
This thread sounds very trollish to me. Pension, whats left of it, is still there and we are not losing our vacation.

Why would xpo start everybody from 0 pto's in 2017? That would be just plain dumb. I would think that Mr. Jacob's is smarter than that. I would hope that he wants to keep us somewhat happy and doing something like that would pretty much tick everybody off. Drivers that have stuck it out w/ this company over the years just to begin to enjoy a few weeks off a year will be pushed over the edge. Drivers will leave this happy place in droves cause xpo ain't the only LTL trucking company needing drivers. No i'm not buying this rumor, it just doesn't make good business sense for xpo to do something like that. If they do,I hope that they give us a heads up of the coming change so I can cash in my banked pto's and head for greener pastures. P.S. I got about $760.00 a month coming to me from Conway when I'm finally through w/ this place. I will have had a lot more when I'm done if they hadn't cut the pension plan at the end of 2012.
 
Most of the employees do not realize how bad they screwed us over on the pension plan. If they would have kept their promises , we would have been in good shape. I told one of the vice presidents that the rule of 85 wasn't worth a crap anymore when the sent them around to make you believe that it was in your best interest.
I'm getting mad just thinking about it! I better leave it at that.
 
Conway employees never say anything negative so if a post sounds negative in any way it must be a union driver trolling your board.....it is the only possible explanation!

You have to cut the union drivers a little slack, our boards are boring as hell. I don't know if things are going to turn out good or bad for you guys, but it sure is exciting!
 
Blame all on the union people if you cannot figure it out.
Might be management... Sales.... Who knows.
But.... Blame it on the union people? Why?
