It's not a question of letting your lunch money be stolen for fear of getting a black eye. I'm saying that the black eye is the cost of not giving up your lunch money.

Deny it if you want to, but you're kidding yourself if you really believe YRC wouldn't close their doors if you vote no. And what does that leave the lot of you with? YRCF, Reimer, Holland, New Penn and Reddaway employ a lot of people. A lot of people who would be without work if YRC locked the doors after a no vote.

Where would you all go? ABF and UPS won't have room for all of you. Some of you would retire, for what good that'll do you after the CSPF screw job. But not everyone will have the luxury of throwing up their hands.

So I ask you, AkitaDog. What would you do if your mighty NO killed the fat yellow pig?

I will follow the freight. The company will dissappear but the freight still be there and need to be moved. Why do you think we have to go to another union company? Or work in LTL? Or trucking? Sometimes you have to take a stand, no matter the consequences.
 
I don't know if there is a vote coming or not but after last time it don't really matter, they will vote till they get the response that they want. Welch made a bundle last year off our sacrifices and will continue to do so. I vote no to anything less than our 15% back. I could put that in 401k and at least have some retirement. Also wasn't crazy about camera's in trucks, but if something happens to you because of crappy ass equipment they won't be able to deny it

I'm with you on that post brother, I remembered when I started the 401K and guys laughed at me when I did it 10 years ago at 20% from my gross now I scaled back to 10% after all the give backs. What we need is a supplemental plan to coincide with whatever this pension reform act will be for us. this would be an issue I would want to offset wherever pending cuts they try to impose. Was listening to some of that conference call and there are those who want the active guys to take the most severe cuts of all. Hard call to make any way you look at it.

YRC is gonna get better and they need to at lest come off the dime to us for enduring this event we're going through. IMOP I believe those of us who are still grinding away here need to be compensated or rewarded for going through this. Don't need to hear the propaganda BS of you still got a job or we're not where we need to be. These YRC exec's need to know there is a difference from running a business and running a bidness.
 
I say see you in 2019, when we have a new president that will stand up to the compay and tell them the teamsters are all out of favors for YRC. If your not going to reinstate the consessions given back the last 4 years.with a ceo collecting big pay raises.

WRONG , the Yellow PIG , will never ever shut down, even with a no vote , they always have " extra spare money" to pay Bonuses !!! and remember when " one closes other door opens " !!!!! and yes Big, Long,Wong and Huh are working to fix corporate ******* at meetings in KC next wk-end !!
 
The new equipment that is arriving has all sorts of gadgets that supposedly make the truck safer, along with automatic transmissions. Many of the road drivers I've spoken with don't like them because they think that they have inadequate control of the truck on snow and ice.

OK, for the umpteenth time, the bonuses were NOT paid in cash. The bonuses were in the form of shares of stock. Come on Wong, you're going to destroy the excellent reputation of your LLC.

ok , CORRECT me if i'am Wong , BUT "shares of stock " can be sold for "cash" , which they have and plus they have gotten "cash bonuses" to !!! so for the umpteenth time they should NOT be getting any stock shares or cash bonuses , till we are back to full pay & vac. time back , because us Driver's are trying to save the company -15% every week !!! really WHY should the "Driver's always have to be the ones to try & save the company ??? and I know I am prolly WONG about this way of thinking !!!!

Definitely not to one of the Teamster represented trucking companies.Representation and corruption has run amok.That last MOU2014 prove to me how this is working.Glad we are still open but not very enthused by the means.

I hope your LLC succeeds in not killing the yellow pig, Wong. You and BRG must be getting tired out there in that CRST! Go knock em dead. I'm sure J and J will be happy to listen.
