XPO | Feedback from St. Louis SCM Conference

That's a big part of this. There is a history. We have lost a lot of good people over those years. It won't take things dipping much at all for a large group to completely freak out and scatter. And things are going to have to change. They have to.

How many will stick it out ? That's the $3 billion question.

I'm gonna give this new company a chance but, what has happen to us over the last 5-8 years It's awful hard to trust them. Just me
your not alone on this,i would like to think they learned how far they can push us,with what went on with the union stuff, trust is earned not given, and it's much harder to get it back once you've lost it.he'll get the benefit of the doubt at first but at some point he needs to earn it

well change has to be left up to you big terminals,us rural guys have limited options, and those options just don't pay as well.

Change as in, the Con-way is not the XPO way. Things will change. There will be drama. People will leave. How many ? Dunno. They have done a good job keeping us in the dark.

I read an article yesterday that said that they are going to look at terminals to see if they make money or not, if they are great but if they are not they will try and get them to profit and if they still don't they will shut them down.

I am not able to post a link because I don't know how. I will google it again and that way you can read it for yourself.

Just go to the article and then copy and paste the address from the address bar at the top of the screen. If you just copy and paste the article that's a violation of the author's copyright.

One thing I'd like to know ( after the meetings ) is: Who's in charge of what , and who reports to who?

We need an organizational flow chart. No one ( in management ) wants to comment on whose responsible for what. It could be arrogance or it could be they have no idea either.

With many being fired and XPO people settling in , it would be nice if there was a better flow of information.

Fed ex will be low balling the freight to make it awfully difficult to make this xpo deal to thrive. Good luck boys.
