Northern Flash COMMON SENSE IS THE CURE.

The sad part is that the more the govt rewards their bad behavior, the worse their decisions get.

The money doesn't "vanish".... It goes to help provide the services we need to make a functional, cohesive society....like roads, bridges and other infrastructure.... Military expenditures ...police and fire protection....and also the part you hate, it goes to help others in Society that need it...
And for the part you love, it also goes to cover for tax breaks for the already wealthy....

So did it just" vanish"?... No....not by a long shot.... ..

It's a start, hopefully they will grow and mature beyond the partisan bickering of today....

I wish your sons only the best going forward

It's true that there have been great medical advances over the past 30 years..... However, to just say it's solely due to "capitalism" isn't totally accurate.... Don't you think it's reasonable to think that researchers and doctors strive to learn better ways to treat and diagnosis illness because they care about helping people?... What about the more socialist nations, they have just as advanced care as here.... Maybe even better in some cases....and it's available to everyone......

The Doctors, mostly due to hospital policy, will not help save lives if you don't have insurance or cash...... Yes there are emergency rooms for life threatening emergencies, but they are NOT free and provide just the basics ....any treatments beyond that and you'll need insurance, or cash.... So in one way Insurance makes the difference in whether or not you get to see a Doctor, who yes is the one that treats and saves lives....if given the chance...

Why would God "bless Capitalism"?... A system that promotes greed and profit above human life..... A system that is rife with corruption..... Why would God bless that?

I just have to shake my head when I hear someone defending more tax breaks for the uber wealthy...when they themselves are not benefited by it in any way.

It's still there..... They'll keep whipping that story .....it's going to be their best shot at proving obstruction of justice and shot at impeachment..... So just keep watching

No one is making any doctor a "slave" or to preform their duties as "involuntary servitude"..... If working for less equates to " slavery" then you should be all in for a raise in the minimum wage to lift the working poor out of "slavery and involuntary servitude...." What about Companies that cut workers pay...make them do more for less.... YRC comes to mind as an example......

Again, you're worried sick over Doctors pay, which is still very very good compared to average workers wages....and yet you think that average working people should work for whatever a Corporation wants to pay, no matter how low it is.... I guess the 13th amendment you quoted doesn't apply to the low wage earners.... The wealthy need more wealth....at the expense of everyone else...

I agree, the cost of college is way to high and out of control.... There was one candidate that wanted to address that......

As far as "the left "being responsible for that, I would say its more of a big business decision about making big profits ....which sounds more like a right-wing ideal than the " left"........ What would you, as a conservative, do to lower the cost of college so more people could afford it without going into deep debt for many years?

Their little "Independent counsel" is not so independent.Regardless of the outcome,Trump is not going anywhere. With Comeys bud presiding and Dimm donors getting their taxpayer paychecks, doing their best to make stuff up to find some kind of impropriety on anything associated with this administration, the conflict of interest is obvious.Trump is a rock star to 40% of the country and was legally elected to the Office. He wont be going anywhere without another Civil War.

Explain that when they lose 1/3 of the money they earn
    While others don't even bother
Don't contribute to the society and social fabric just take from the labors of others and complain about that
As for tax breaks for the wealthy those that pay the taxes are the ones that should receive the breaks
When Libs like Buffett, Barry, Biden, zuckerburg, etc actually pay the 39.5% they preach then we can talk

Actually, if you want to make it cheaper, you need to get the insurance companies out of it.... They are there for one reason only, and that is more profit.....

You seem to have no clue about how Insurance works..... It spreads the risk out over a larger number of people..... All the policy holders pay in, all policy holders are covered... If you want to buy extra insurance on your property that is up to to you...

That's what Insurance is for..... It spreads the risk out over a large group of people.... Group insurance!... If people could only buy insurance based on their needs, those with no, or very little health concerns would of course pay less.... But those with health issues, the cost would be prohibitive.... So, as the healthier ones age, or contract some serious illness, their premiums would sky rocket to match their current needs....

Insurance works best when the cost risk is spread out, not based on individual use, or projected use.....

Not really, over time it collapses under the corruption and greed it generates... Costs continue to rise while wages stagnates and jobs are off shored for lower wages ...which hasn't done anything to improve the "human condition" for workers in "sweat shops" in foreign lands just so you can buy something "cheap"... .
The " human condition " extends beyond just yourself or those you know.... It means all of humanity...and don't bother to tell me that's because most countries aren't "capitalist"... Capitalism is always going need workers somewhere to work for less and less to create wealth for the relative few..... Look at the dwindling " middle class " in the USA as an example ..... Again I ask, Why would God bless such a system?

Northern Flash is the last one that should be whining about someone not " answering questions".... He has left most of my questions unanswered.... Unless name calling is an "answer"... His buddy too...jimmy g.... Don't answer if it requires some thought ..easier to just deflect with a different question.....

Since they spend a large part of their time here, they assume we all have nothing else to do but be here to answer there usually nonsensical questions...lol...

I tend to agree....maybe not designed to fail per se ....but designed as a first step to Universal single payer as a solution to the problems unsolved by it...

Is there any such thing in politics as "independent"?.. And I tend to agree, Trump is not going to be removed from office....

Depending on what poll you read, but I doubt its 40 percent....and really it doesn't matter....
Yes Trump is the President legally, no one is disputing that... It's whether or not he will remain as President....which I believe he will...

Very True! John Locke is generally called The Father of Capitalism. He knew it works when Virtuous People use it, since it's the only system based solely on Man's Freedom.

I'm thinking you must be punishing yourself for getting an Athletic Scholarship, since you're reliving college professors lecturing you on here.:lmao::biglaugh:

I'm not wrong..... And if you think I stated the obvious (which I did) then you should realize that the person I was responding to didn't seem to understand the obvious....so hence my post.....

Always quick on the insults on here......seems to be the fashionable thing to do on here.... ..
