I don't think there is enough room at the present terminal for a break bulk facility. Is a larger facility for sale in Amarillo? I can't see the company building a large terminal there. There have been rumors that the Weatherford Oklahoma relay would be moved to Amarillo. It is certainly possible to run Amarillo out of L.R. Amarillo can be turned out of Albuquerque. This would eliminate one motel bill per load from L.R. to Albuquerque.
Amarillo has a huge yard not that much dock space but lots of room to add on.
I think it makes more since to send KC to Amarillo rather than tucamcari there is no room to park what we have going there now much less another 20 some sets. If we bought land there it would work.
L.R. lay down @ Amarillo. Albuquerque turning Amarillo that makes it attractive to fort smith.
I am sure alot of pepol would be happy with more miles.
