Tires on brand new trucks are actually spin-balanced and weights added where needed, the replacement tires only have a 'balanceing powder' poured into it when the tires are mounted on the rim. suppossed to balance the tire over time

I would bet on out of round tires, I have run trucks with the balance powder, It does work.

If brand new tires are 'out of round', why are they not returned to the manufacturer?

Better yet why can't DFL choose a better steer tire to begin with?

No tire is true and round when I had my own truck we use to have a guy true the steer tires and you would be amazed how much of the tire gets shaved but you would get 180,000 thousand instead of 100,000 out of a set of steers just sayin'
