If I remember correct, the last recession was in the early 90's and it caused many cut-throat truck operators to go belly up. I also recall rates solidifying after this and truck capacity declining which led to high profits for remaining truckers.
One different thing this time around...... manufacturing in the US is much less than last time around but import exports are more now than back then.
What are your thoughts on this?
