13 yr. old killed, school bus/semi crash

CITRA - A 13-year-old North Marion Middle School student was killed when a semi rear-ended a stopped bus on U.S. 301 in Citra Tuesday afternoon.

At least six other students were injured and two adults. They were taken to area hospitals, said Marion County Fire Rescue spokeswoman Heather Danenhower.

Florida Highway Patrol officials said Franees Margay Schee, 13, was killed. Firefighters found her near the middle of the burned bus at 4:43 p.m.

4 men jumped out of their vehicles to rush onto this burning bus and save many students that would have other wise burned to death.

I say God will bless these men for their selfless actions.

Authorities at the scene say that seeing both vehicles burned that a lot more could have been killed.
