YRC post 45.9 Million dollar loss at close of business Thursday.

Oh no, it looks like trying to save this company and the union just got a little harder for the workers to do..... :biglaugh:

That loss was compared to what they made from last year. So I see this as not too bad compared to other trucking companies. All have reported huge losses due to lack of freight and higher fuel cost. What all know what needs to be done and that is providing better service than all of our competitors union or not. And this can be done if we all come together and put aside all the B.S. if you like the contract or not. We all need to protect our jobs at YRC and do what we get paid for.

Very true!!! Remember, unlike other companies, even those of us that end up w/o a job, have 5 years to get back into the action. We have to focus on stabilizing the company. This will protect our jobs long term.
