Question,if you show up to work and your canceled,do you get paid a min 2 hour show up and go back home? Thats a policy at National,just wondering if the same at Freight

Yes if you show up and get canceled when you get there or they forget to call you get 2 hours of pay.

Well that is not right. I just got paid last week because my run was cancelled as I pulled in the parking lot. My cell phone rang and I said I'll be in to get my 2 hours show up pay. The dispatch supervisor signed my log book and I got paid. That is how it should work.

We have guys that the two hours pay barley covers the gas and time it take to come in and go home.

It's a 4 hour minimum in California by statute, not company policy.
