PHOENIX - Authorities say two small children have died after a three-vehicle collision on a west Phoenix freeway Saturday.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 2:40 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 west of 43rd Avenue.
DPS spokesman Bart Graves said the accident occured when a vehicle slowed to look at a minor fender bender on the freeway, cutting off a minivan occupied by a 35-year-old female driver. He said that vehicle was then rear-ended by a vehicle with a female driver and two infants, a 3-week-old male and 13-month-old female. Those vehicles were then hit by a fuel tanker which rolled over onto its side...........
