Daimler Trucks Recalls Certain 2010 Freighliner Cascadias

I don't know where they ended up but this seems like a serious problem.

Not a OD driver, but see you fellas driving plenty of Columbias, and we run them too were I work, we've had problems with the bolt attaching the the pitman arm to steering gear, it seems the bolt must stretch over time causing the pitman to loosen on the gear shaft, I always give it a quick check by twisting the steering shaft and watching the pitman/gear connection for looseness.

I believe OD specs TRW steering gear,the recall notice mentioned this was optional equipment,hopefully one we passed on,there's 10 new Cascadias at PAR and more at KCY waiting to be sent into the system.
