I added a calendar to use when planning your Vacation, Discretionary and Personal Days off.
The only thing missing is the Black Out Days.

  • Memorial Day - Monday - May 31, 2010
  • Independence Day (observed) Monday - July 5, 2010
  • Labor Day - Monday - September 6, 2010
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday - November 25, 2010
  • Day after Thanksgiving - Friday - November 26, 2010
  • Christmas Eve - Friday - December 24, 2010

Can't see how, majority of the customers will be closed....
I am sure that there will be many customers that will be open. The bigger question is... What are the other trucking companys going to do on July 5th?

Christmas Holiday: We only get friday off, but we will be getting paid for Saturday as well.

(*)UPS Freight is closed (includes LTL and Truckload services). Customers that require pickup or delivery service during observed holidays may schedule service in advance by contacting the local Service Center or the UPS Freight LTL Urgent Services Department at (800) 644-0900. Additional charges may apply for pickup and delivery services on major holidays. Refer to the Rules Tariff for more information on these charges.

A: The UPS small package operation will run a normal pickup & delivery network of international, air & ground packages on July 3rd. LTL customers may consider UPS Ground (Freight Pricing) or UPS Hundredweight® as an alternative for shipments consisting of multiple non-palletized packages under 150 lbs and headed to the same location
