With the -15% & lost weeks vacation time & pension broke , employee lookout for 2017 is going to be a challenge as more Driver's are Retiring & Quitting and NO ability to hire any new Driver's . It will be a Challenging 2017

Point here is that ,we are running out of trap trailer's daily ,because we don't have enough Driver's to Del & pick-up freight , so unless management figure's out they need to at least Match the higher non-union pay scale ,no driver's will come here to apply and customer's will go elsewhere to find somebody that has driver's to haul their freight !!

I think our outlook won't have changed much from 2016. They'll probably start softening us up later this year, and then 2018 will bring the either or messages. The banks aren't going to give us any more rope unless they see significant givebacks. Pay cuts, we pick up the tab for health insurance, straight time, elimiation of the pension, etc.. ANNND when we walk, sniff, the company folds all because the communistic, socialist YOONYUN man won't face facts. Lol, like I've said, this stuff writes itself. Watch for us on fox bizness news tv. Stuart Varney has a portion of his show that he calls UNION WATCH, where he shows us "Yet another example of union outrage". Sorry to sound like a busted record.

No one wants to work 14 hours a day. Period. The new people don't know about the 15% giveback because they never had it. Work a man 10 hours a day, do away with the lower starting pay. Quit treating the people like it's a prison camp. If you do that you might keep the people you have plus get more new applicants. I'm just a truck driver and I can figure it out. Plus people might want to do a good job just like it was 1992. We never had these problems back then and the company made a LOT of money.
Also do away with the top managements greed. 8 million dollars to run a trucking company into the ground is bullshit.

Back in '92 there was teamwork and brotherhood among the employees and pretty good relations with management. Over the years, it slowly changed over to back-stabbing each other as drivers and tit for tat with the management.

Yep.
When the confrontations became too frequent, I knew that it was time to leave. It may not have happened at all barns, but it did at mine, so I bid them a nice farewell.:sadwavey:
