Was going good for the first two quarters then slowed down, the fourth quarter dragged.
The result is no better then Obama's record and some years he did as well or better.:scratchhead:
But like baseball theres always next year:sadwavey:

Last week the Libs were harping about still being the results of Obama’s economic policies when talking about the economy! So are you saying what’s going on right now is Trump?

The U.S. economy may have grown faster than expected in the final three months of the year, at a pace of 2.1%, but that won’t do much to improve President Obama’s economic legacy. Including the latest Commerce Department figure, the average GDP growth rate during his tenure was about 1.5%. The only president with a worse economic record since 1930 is Herbert Hoover.

4th quarter 2017 were 2.6% disappointing but still over 1% better than Obama’s Herbert Hoover average so bite me. MAGA.

It was reported that these initial numbers will be revised UP when the final numbers come in.
I doubt the revision will get it's own thread.

Considering all of the obstruction in Congress,I find it amazing at how fast and decisive President Trump has skyrocketed our economic growth.Cant wait for the workers tax cuts to kick in next month.I know the TB,s deadbeats wont see it,which will make it even more sweeter.

Remember Reagan cut tax's then later he had to raise them to bring back revenues. Bush also cut tax's and that furthered the deficit.
When the Democrats take back power, you'll start to hear the right wing media beating the drums about the deficit again.
Until then they will be as quiet as a church mouse about it.
    It's so predictable :idunno:

“The bill before us will certainly do some good,” Obama said on the Senate floor in October 2006. He praised the legislation, saying it would provide “better fences and better security along our borders” and would “help stem some of the tide of illegal immigration in this country.”

Obama was talking about the Secure Fence Act of 2006, legislation authorizing a barrier along the southern border passed into law with the support of 26 Democratic senators including party leaders like Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Chuck Schumer.

Trump has also added his own twist that was never a part of the 2006 legislation, a promise that the Mexican people would pay for the wall. But on Thursday White House spokesman Sean Spicer, in a briefing aboard Air Force One, said that Trump would levy a 20 percent tax on all imports from Mexico to fund construction of the barrier.

He estimated that the 20 percent tariff would bring in $10 billion a year and “easily pay for the wall.” Later, the White House appeared to back away from the idea of an import tax.

    Wrong and wrong again.
Tax cuts have never "furthered" the deficit, Liberal-like spending does.
Both cases you listed were caused by out of control spending.

Illegal immigrants cost the U.S. tax payer over 125 billion per year.
I’m willing for the taxpayers to spend over 125 billion per year for the wall.
    How bout you?

    125 billion ÷ how many taxpayers ?

Let's figure out how much you actually paid last year and don't include the illegals who are said to be the beneficiaries

And since the numbers of illegals here is probably estimated low, the money that we spend on them being here is probably also low.
They shouldn't be here to begin with, so a one time investment only makes sense.
Seal the border first, then we'll consider dealing with other issues affiliated with immigration.

I don't care what the wall costs......just built it. The wall is a cheap investment compared to what the illegals cost us each year, and the wall will last for decades. And that's not even putting a price tag on what the illegals cost us in decaying our society.

Did you send a memo to the big $ employers who use them for cheap labor such as Georgia carpet Mills I'm sure they want to hear your new approach in the labor movement

So in other words, your Democrat party supports the big businesses and their cheap labor benefits. Otherwise, you would be supporting keeping the illegals out of our country.
I'll make a note of that.
