Happened to me at Coca-Cola. The pickers decided that the drivers were making to much and voted us a decrease and themselves a raise.

I quit there shortly after. Barely making $40K busting your ass with a valid CDL is just stupid.

We never promise NMFA, that contract is 50 years old! Why would we do that? Everyone knows that contracts take years to build to that status.
Like i have always said, don't expect a spectacular first contract, i can promise that in that contract they will have the grievance machinery, they will have job protections that they don't have now, they will have the piece of mind of going to work without fear of being fired for any reason they see fit. They will be "just cause" employee's !!

In case you don't know Conway already cut our wages by 5% a few years ago. plus a years vacation, plus matching 401k. They take what ever the **** they want to when ever they want too. What part of that do you not understand

We got our wages back and plenty of raises..what part of that dont you understand..and they give us money in 401 without contribution from us.

Ok let's analyze this shall we?
If you make say $80,000 per year, my quarterly CW contribution at 3% would be $2400 for the year. (This plan was touted to replace my pension loss.)
Under the original 401k plan making the same $80,000 dollars, my 6% contribution ($4800) would be matched by $2400 CW and equal out to $7200 for the year, PLUS THE $2400 FROM THE 3% QUARTERLY WOULD EQUAL $9600. Yeah, we got it real good. (pornographically speaking.)

I didn't say it was better just putting facts out there..how do you have time for all that math..that was quick.
