Holland | 705 vote

Vote Authorized

It was authorized by the Membership.

Yes, as my previous post shows.
281 Yes, authorizing a strike if necessary.
15 No

Guess one might say that it passed by an overwhelming majority. Of those present at the meeting.

It was a vote by ballot at the hall's auditorium.

I witnessed the count.

Keep this in mind.

At the last negotiating meeting on May 15,2008, both parties asked each other "Is this your last, best and final offer."

Both parties said "No"

So I would imagine that the Union has a responsibility to notify the TMI group, under NLRB parameters, what the outcome of the authorizing meeting vote was. I would sincerely then hope that as well the union asked for additional dates to negotiate.

I have not heard any conversation whatsoever as to just what has taken place if anything at all between the two entities as of today 6.14.08

Hope that this gives you a better understanding of the situation as it stands.

As I know it.
