Five (5) more of our brothers on the CH,WH,BV master list laid off today.

Total, eleven (11).

28 Loads held off the street today in McCook.

Wh asking everyone to start one (1) hour early on Monday 9.9.08.

Diverting Holland work (customers) to YRCW Logistics.

JUST ONE MORE?

What is our leadership doing? Where are we going?

How long are we going to wait.

Has the time for action escaped us?

Action is essential. If not, why not?

A thorough explanation is due to the membership, now! in person, in terminal.

The men are resolute.

Am willing to go down with bloody knuckles.

"If we wait for the moment when everything, absolutely everything is ready, we shall never begin".

Quote, Ivan Turgenev, great Russian author

Add to this 7 Dock men in same terminals 710 board

This brings to mind the question of leadership or lack there of !!

There was a paper hanging from management, in LO Friday too. Asking for people to "volunteer" to come in an hour early on Monday. There was all so another paper hanging, from an unknown source. It stated that we have many people on layoff and nobody should "volunteer" to help management out.

Wow. A Teamster looking out for the team. Imagine that. Will he run for Hoffa's position? Is he willing?
Instead of volunteering to come in early, everyone should call in sick.

As we all know, Chicago Land is the bread winner for our company. When Chicago is booming, so is our company. To think Ch inbound to Me is only generating 1 load a night is ridiculous and that is offering next day service. You think your customers are having second thoughts about using us? Don't take rocket science to figure that out. Good luck moving forward. GRIZZ
