I don't know that I have ever seen so many in both National and Local leadership break rank and turn on Hoffa over one issue. Conscious or just doing whats right I do not know but I appreciate their help and respect the hell out of them. If there was more time I'm sure more would side with the No vote. Should they win here in the first attempt ABF will see just how easy it was and that the vote 5 years ago was no fluke. They'll be coming for more! Give it about 6-9 months and your own pension plan will be telling you about upcoming changes. I ask you to stand with men who stuck their necks out for you,Brother Teamsters. Stop this poorly thought-out contract in its tracks and these men will be there for you in the future. They aren't asking you but pleading for you to vote no for your own welfare. A real "Full restoration of vacations" Remove all language that results in economic loss in pensions and remove bonus for additional raise to wages would be a good start.
