good for your buddy. yes indeed, pay a fee, or stay off private properties...A friend had some young timber destroyed by large 4X4 trucks. He drove some grader blades deep into the ground. He went back a few days later & found tracks indicating two trucks were pulled backward by another truck. The tracks indicated flat tires & there was antifreeze & oil on the ground. He hasn't had any timber destroyed since.
If these "Mudders" want to tear up ground they should buy their own property or pay a fee to run in a mud pit.
Grader Blades ?? Well he is lucky nobody got hurt , or they could have sued him , kinda like the guy that set a shotgun booby trap at his cabin & it shot the guy & he sued him and won ?? NOT saying it's right but it's what can happen !! and yes they need to go muddying on public 4x4 trails , but in my younger days we went muddying in the public river bottoms & no problems , with 36" Buckshot Mud tires & 383 Stoker motor & 4" snap strap we all came out of the mud holes !!A friend had some young timber destroyed by large 4X4 trucks.
